Scope of Services
Our tax preparation services include the preparation and filing of your federal, state, and local tax returns based on the information you provide. This service does not include legal advice, tax audit representation, or assistance with any non-tax-related matters unless explicitly stated in the service agreement.
Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information required for the preparation of your tax returns. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions resulting from inaccurate or incomplete data provided by you. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information.
Fees and Payment
Fees for tax preparation services will be clearly outlined in the service agreement prior to commencement. Payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed upon. Additional fees may apply for special services such as expedited processing, amendments, or additional consultations.
Client Responsibilities
It is your responsibility to retain copies of all documents related to your tax filings, including but not limited to W-2 forms, 1099 forms, receipts, and other financial records. You agree to provide any requested documentation or information in a timely manner to allow us to complete your tax returns.
Filing and Compliance
Upon completion of your tax returns, we will file them electronically, unless you request otherwise. While we make every effort to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations, we are not liable for any penalties or interest resulting from errors or misinterpretations of tax laws, or if the IRS or state tax authority audits or disputes your return.
